Happy Halloween!

This Halloween was a little different. It happened to be the night of the Utah blackout game against Wyoming. Both of the boys really wanted to go and they had a little trick or treating alley up there for the kids. Jared an the boys also met and got a picture with the Utah basketball coach Jim Boylen. He was super nice.

Inside the trick or treat tent people from all of the different teams were in there hadning out candy and autographing stuff. The boys loved it. We had so much fun at the game, mostly because Payton was all wound up on cotton candy and coke. Yep that mix together makes Payton crazy! He was saying some funny stuff. He yelled out "hey Wyoming you paly ball like a girl" he had everyone cracking up.

Happy Birthday Payton!

Today we celebrated Payton's 7th birthday! He had a great time with his family tonight, even though he did get handcuffed by a cop, lol. The boys even went to a haunted house tonight. Thank you everyone for the great gifts and for coming. And Mom, Terri and Clay your costumes were great!

Making Payton's costume

For Halloween we had bought a costume for Payton, it was a zombie doctor. But his school sent an email out saying they could only dress up like a character in a book. So Jared came up with the idea that Payton could be dressed like he was a dummy being held by a ventrilaquist. He did a great job of making it. It was so funny Payton was the hit of his parade. Everyone called him the president because the only mask that we could find for it was an Obama one that Jordan had.

I dont know how to make this video not sideways, sorry.

Jordan's Guillotine

Jordan just got done reading A Tale of Two Cities in english, and so he had to make something from the book. So Jared and grandpa helped Jordan make this guillotine, its pretty cool. He got the most points that you could get on it and all of his classmates thought it was cool.

Deer Hunt 2009

This year the deer hunt was a little bit of an adventure. We always go to the same place that is near gunnison....BUT when we got there we saw a sign that read that we couldnt hunt there until Wednesday and it was only friday. So Jared made some phone calls and we ventured West of Richfield. We had never been there so we were hopin we could tow the trailer up the roads and find a place to camp. We finally found a great spot despite that it was close to a trail that kicked up ALOT of dust when people drove up and down it. It ended up being alot of fun, we were with Jared's mom and dad. They saw alot of deer but they were all girl deer so we did not get one yet but Jared and his dad are going next weekend in our usual place so maybe they will have better luck then.
