Christmas 2009 (finally catching up on blogging)

Christmas is always great! I love time with family although sometimes this time of the year gets stressful its always nice to be with the ones that you love! We had my family over to our house on Christmas eve afternoon for lunch and we went to Jared's mom and dads that night. Payton was very excited this year for Santa he could not wait.

Skating party

Tonight we went to a birthday party at Classic skating for my nephew Donovan's birthday. Me Jared and Payton TRIED roller skating and we ended up on our bottoms more than skating on our feet. Jordan did great on roller blades and then the boys found scooters to ride on, which was entertaining as well. My cute new nephew Ashton was there too. Jared and his baby hungry hands held almost the whole time. He is so cute!

This year we went caroling through grandpa Jensen's senior living community. This video is of the kids practicing their carols.

Payton started basketball today, for the most part it is instructional which we are not used to but he has fun!

Thanksgiving weekend

Thanksgiving was great! First we went to my brother Troy's and his wife Ruth's house a nd ate some very yummy food, it was so nice to visit with my neice she is so funny. And then we went to Jared's mom and dad's for dinner. We had alot of fun there too, it is always fun to see all of the kids play together. I am so thankful for family! That weekend we put up the tree which Payton decorated and made some sugar cookies.

Ashton born November 24, 2009

I am excited to welcome my new little nephew Ashton into the world. Tammi and Nick were blessed today with a perfect 7lb 13 oz baby boy today. Jared and I went to see them in the hospital tonight. Mom and baby are both doing well, and Nick is a very proud dad! Congratulations to you Tammi and Nick you will be great parents and thank you for bringing Ashton into this world.
